1. How many computers do you have at home? How old are these computers? Do you have a PC, a notebook computer, or both?
2. Are computers cheap or expensive where you live? How much would you pay for a new PC or notebook? How much would you pay for a new tablet?
3. What do people usually do with their old computers? What do they do with their old smartphones? What will you do with your current computer or phone when you buy a new one?
4. What features do you look for in a smartphone? What features do you consider when you want to buy a new PC or notebook?
5. Have you ever lost your phone? What happened? Have you ever broken your phone so badly that it couldn’t be fixed?
6. How often do you use your phone for mobile payments? If you lose your phone, or if it is stolen, can someone else easily use your phone to pay for things? What can you do to prevent someone else from using your phone to buy things?
7. How often do you play computer games or smartphone games? Do you usually play alone, or with other people? What is your favorite game?
8. Have you ever had any viruses on your computer? How do people usually get viruses on their computers or their phones? What would you do if you found out you had a virus on your computer? Do you have an anti-virus program on your computer? Do you know the name of the program? Is it free or do you pay for it?
9. How often do you install new applications (apps) on your computer or your other devices? Which applications do you use most often? Is it easy to install apps on your devices or computer? What do you do if you don’t know how to install applications?
10. Does your computer work well, or does it often give you trouble? Where do you take your computer if you can’t fix it yourself? How about your smartphone or tablet: Does it sometimes slow down? Does it sometimes crash? What do you do when your phone or tablet has a problem?
11. How often do you make backups of the files on your computer? Where do you keep these backups?
12. Do you have a printer at home? How often do you use it? What do you usually print? Do you have a scanner? If you do, what do you usually scan?
13. If you could change one thing about your computer, what would it be? If you could add anything or change anything to your smartphone, what would it be?
14. Five years from now, computers, smartphones, and other mobile devices will be more powerful, and a lot faster. What do you think we will be able to do with computers five years from now? What will we be able to do with smartphones and other devices five years from now?
