Going Out

1. What are some of your favorite ways to socialize and spend time outside of your home?

2. Is it expensive to go out in your city? How much money do you usually spend on a night out? How much is a meal at a good restaurant in your city? How about a glass of beer? How much for a good cup of coffee at a coffee shop? Would you go out more often if it was cheaper?

3. Does your city have many night clubs? If you are under 25, where do you go to dance? If you are over 35 and you want to go dancing, where do you go?

4. Describe a memorable night out with friends or family: Where did you go? Who went out with you? Why was it memorable?

5. How do you decide where to go when planning a night out? What are some factors that influence your choice of venue?

6. How do you handle disagreements or different preferences when planning a night out with friends or family?

7. Do you prefer quiet evenings at home or going out to socialize? Why?

8. Share a story about a unique dining experience you’ve had: Where did you go? Who was with you? What did you eat? Why do you consider it unique?

9. How have websites and smartphone apps changed the way people socialize and plan outings?

10. Describe your ideal night out: What activities would it include? Who would you want with you? Where would you go?
